Chanhassen has a fireworks display at 10 p.m. at Lake Ann Park. Valleyfair in Shakopee will also have fireworks at 10 p.m. The park is open to midnight Saturday.

Prior Lake will also have a fireworks display. The Prior Lake Association will present its display from Watzl’s Beach in Lakefront Park, beginning just after 10 p.m. Spectators can watch from the park.

Fireworks and the Fourth of July go hand-in-hand.

When I was little, we'd always watch the fireworks over Blakeslee Field at Minnesota State University in Mankato. It was a good show but a pain to leave with all the traffic.

Any suggestions for best place in the Twin Cities to see fireworks Saturday?

The Shakopee Mdewakanton Dakota Community will have a fireworks display that is open to the public on the Fourth of July. Showtime is 10 p.m.
